Terms and Conditions.

Casa de la Gringa Policy.
These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your booking. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them.

Booking will only be confirmed once we have received a deposit (through telegraphic transfer). Two nights deposit is non – refundable. No Show – Full Payment. A non-refundable policy shall apply for all accommodation paid.

Upon arrival passport must be handed to receptionist on arrival for booking details.

Individual or group bookings of 7 days or more must pay at least 50% of accommodation upon arrival (with or without discount rates) Full settlement of bill before departing the hotel.

Payment must be made in advance to receive long-term discount rates (7 nights minimum)

Check in time is 2.00pm. If you check in before this time you will be charged for the night before.
Check out time is 11.00am. If you check out after 11am and before 6pm you will be charged a late check out fee, which is half the room rate.

If you check out after 6pm you will be charged for an extra night.We do not offer half-day rates on accommodation. If you check in and check out on the same day you must pay full room rate.


The hotel is not responsible for any personal effects lost on premises. A safety box is available in the manager’s office to store your valuables.

We strongly recommend that you utilize this service to ensure the safety of your valuables (passports & travel documents, money, credit cards, jewelry, etc).

Please hand in room keys to reception before leaving the hotel at any given time. Lost room keys will incur a $10.00 charge per key.

Guests will be liable for lost or damaged property incurred by them during their stay.

Visitors are requested to leave rooms by 6.00pm

All rooms are NON-SMOKING!

Pets are not allowed on site.

Customer behavior:
Guests are kindly requested to respect the hours of communal peace, to behave respectfully and to respect other hotel occupants and staff.

Also, all tenants must comply with the hotel’s regulations, while the hotel reserves the right to refuse access or to evict, subject to any reservation, any person whose conduct is considered to be unlawful, abusive or reprehensible. In this case the hotel is not obliged to pay any compensation. 

Hotel guests / outside guests

Only guests registered as beneficiaries when booking the room have the right to use the room. If an outside visitor wishes to meet a certain hotel visitor, this meeting must be held in public areas.

Social gatherings (party)
For visitors’ safety and hotel protection parties are not allowedin the rooms. In case of noncompliance
and after a written warning, you will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund.

Damages and Room Damage
In the event of damage to the room or to the wider area due to deceit or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage suffered, including the loss due to discontinuance of its activities, on its credit / debit card registered customer.

In case the customer has not paid by credit / debit card but in cash or otherwise the hotel will require immediate payment of the amount of the damage he has suffered by the customer, otherwise the hotel reserves all its legal right.

Due to the pre-payments required for hotel bookings for each participant, there are no refunds or credits offered for partial attendance or no shows. This is a firm policy. Deposits and payments made are completely non-refundable 3 months prior to journey date.

If a Client is a ‘no-show’, or if the package is cancelled after the departure date of the outbound flight, or if the client leaves when reservations are already in progress, no refund for any unused portion of the package will be provided.

It is mandatory that all Clients obtain travel insurance with a minimum medical coverage while traveling. The Company shall not be liable in any way to the Client for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, or for the Company’s failure to
commence, perform and/ or complete any duty owed to the Client if such death, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), illness, damage or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused ‘Act of God’

Valid Passport 

The Client must be in possession of a valid passport required for entry, departure and travel (passport must be valid 6 months past the return date), all visas, permits and certificates including vaccination certificates, insurance policies, is required.

The Company is not responsible for any errors or omissions as to the information provided by third parties such as the appropriate governmental authorities.

I understand during my trip there may be opportunities to undertake activities, which do not form part of the accommodation. I understand the company makes no representations about the safety or quality of the activity, or the standard of the independent operator running it.

The Client agrees that the Company cannot be held responsible or liable if flights are missed or boarding is denied. There will be no discounts or monies refunded for missed or unused bookings The Company reserves the right, however, to apply the currency of their choosing to the booking.
