Our Approach
At Casa de la Gringa, we have been working in deep relationship with this sacred plant spirit for over 25 years. Our work is rooted in respect for traditional Andean wisdom, and every step of the preparation process is done with intention and care.
We use only 7- and 9-ribbed cacti, known for their energetic potency and alignment with sacred geometry. Each cactus is harvested mindfully and prepared with reverence for the medicine and for Pachamama.
Ceremonies are held in a safe, supportive environment surrounded by nature and ancient Inka temples. Participants are lovingly guided through the experience with attention to comfort, nourishment, and integration.

A Life-Changing Journey at Casa de la Gringa. There are no words vast enough to fully capture the magnitude of the experience I had with San Pedro (Wachuma) at Casa de la Gringa. It is more than a retreat center — it is a portal. If you feel called, trust that call. Go. Let the mountains speak. Let the cactus teach. Let your heart remember.
